Stephen Colbert = Rod Serling on acid

Thursday's Colbert Réport with Jon Stewart was one for the record books, I'll tell ya. Here's just one little sample before bed, with more to come tomorrow:

It has always struck me that the entire Bush administration is the plot of a bad Twilight Zone episode, like that one where the woman wakes up from surgery to find that she is the only person on her planet who doesn't have a pig snout. In this Twilight Zone interpretation of our political situation, as opposed to the Matrix interpretation, Stephen Colbert stands as the reality-altered Rod Serling, explaining to us the perversion of reality in which we find ourselves.
