Today's San Francisco Chronicle reports that the pharmaceutical industry has paid $450,000 (and counting) to former mayor Willie Brown since March, for consulting services related to the battle to oppose Prop 79 and support Prop 78.
I don't trust the drug companies to begin with. Even moreso, I don't trust Willie Brown.
Prop 78 is a drug discount plan sponsored by the drug companies. Prop 79 is a drug discount plan sponsored by unions and consumer groups.
My recommendation:
78 NO
79 YES
