Eytan Fox (איתן פוקס) is a controversial Israeli film director. His latest film, The Bubble (הבועה), continues in that vein, exploring a love story between an Israeli Jewish man and a Palestinian Arab man. The Bubble screened in the Frameline31 LGBT Film Festival, and again in the Jewish Film Festival, but I missed it both times due to schedule conflicts — the second 'cause I was in Chicago for the YearlyKos convention. Tomorrow, The Bubble opens in a limited theatrical release, so I'm finally going to get to see it. I intend to post a review on my film festival blog tomorrow evening, and maybe say more here about the political implications.
