Bill Gates on tomorrow's Oprah

Tomorrow [Tuesday, 2006-04-11] on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah's guests will be Bill Gates and his wife Melinda, giving their first joint interview ever. Here is a transcript of that interview ... well, no, The Third Path doesn't actually have a transcript of an interview that hasn't aired yet, but really, Bill Gates, the man responsible for foisting crappy, buggy, incredibly virus-prone software on the vast majority of the world's computer users, is going to be on Oprah. Will he leap onto the sofa? Will he apologize for hobbling our computers with 1970's-era operating system technologies? Will he confess that he shot JFK, even though he was only 8 years old? You'll just have to tune in to Oprah tomorrow.

Update: Lincoln Madison wrote about the Oprah two-part special on "Education in Crisis," 2006-04-13. And no, Bill Gates did not apologize for inflicting Microsoft Windows on an entire generation of computer users.
